Who can join Board Bona Fide?

Anyone in the world who is currently serving on a board or would like to serve on a board for public or private companies and/or non-profit organizations.

Why should I join Board Bona Fide?

Our members join for several reasons. First, they want to make themselves available for other board positions. Second, they want to know about their board capabilities and fit. And, third, they like that we have certified board advisors who they can work with them to become more effect board members.

How specific can I be in my board preferences?

You can be as specific as you want. You can simply tell us you seek board positions with public companies anywhere in the world; that you only want to serve on boards of private food producers in Illinois under US$1 billion in sales; that you want to serve on the board of a healthcare non-profit in Hong Kong; that you want to serve on a board of an organization looking for someone with retail market knowledge in South Africa.

Do you give out my information without my permission?

Never. If your background matches that of a search for a board member, we always secure your permission to give your information to the organization conducting the search.

How often can I update my profile?

You may update your profile as often as you wish.  There is no additional fee for updating your profile.

Can I change my board preferences?

Yes, anytime.  Just go to your profile and make the changes.  There is no additional fee for changing your board preferences.
